Thomson Saginaw Performance Pak satellite antenna actuators give you a unique combination of design features for precise positioning in all kinds of weather and environmental conditions. This was recently proven when a Performance Pak actuator withstood 100 mph winds in what experts dubbed the "Storm of the Century". Since 1968, thousands of these actuators have been operating reliably in all types of applications around the world. These high performance actuators are extensively tested in the labratory and performance-proven in the field. They are precision engineered for minimal maintenance, quiet operation, and long service life.
There are two actuators that we recommend for most C and Ku Band applications. These actuators are listed below. Regardless of which actuator you choose, each actuator can be operated with either a 36 VDC or 24 VDC power supply. Both actuators feature a protective vented shaft boot; enhanced corrosion resistance; heavy duty steel ball clevis end; and water-tight wiring connector. The one-piece ball clamp must be ordered separately.
